Ancient India gets its own NFTs

The collection will include various pieces of ancient Indian artwork. Benoy K Behl amongst others will photograph and restore the art. Furthermore, the collection will release on the 7th of January.

The NFT collection will feature art from 5th century India, with the first NFT available coming from that period. The finest minds in the industry will digitally recreate all the pieces in the collection.

Manav Kumar, from Sapio Analytics had this to say about the collection:

“The first artwork being launched on WazirX NFT platform is one of the greatest creations by humans ever. We are still offering it at a nominal price to its bidders because we believe that this launch shall initiate a revolution in the world of art, creating a new market for Indian artists who focus on the power of emotions in their artworks, as represented by these ancient works,”

As a result, these NFTs will present new opportunities for artists in India. In short, the collection will be one of a kind and the next step in helping to change how we create art. Therefore, the collection will be one for the record books.
